"Junk food" Makes Us Go Senile

Stop eating junk food now! for a long time Health experts warn that it is dangerous  if we regularly eat junk food. Foods high in fat, but the nutritional value is zero, not only can trigger the risk of diabetes, but also causes dementia.

"They become senile, unable to learn or remember," said lead researcher, Suzanne de la Monte, as reported in New Scientist.

Additionally Suzanne said, the research on rabbits, trigger diabetes also cause changes similar to Alzheimer's such as the emergence of protein or amyloid beta plaques in the brain. Beta amyloid plaques is known as one sign of Alzheimer's.

With these findings, experts recommend people to eat healthy foods. To prevent dementia, people are encouraged to always apply a balanced diet that includes vegetables, fruits, nuts, and legumes. People should eat less meat, high-fat dairy products, fried foods, sweets, and junk food. It is recommended to consume good fats, found in olive and canola oils.
