Health : Outdoor Play Can Avoid Myopic Eyes

Eye minus is a problem that often arises in adults. How the eye minus can attack children? yes, it's possible a 5 years old boy suffering from blindness. According to research from queensland university, turns outdoor play for children is very important. Because it can reduce the risk of myopic eyes.




What causes it? it  is not known certainly, but the strong possibility is that by playing outside the house, children are more often do physical activity and more often exposed to sunlight.

Researchers from Australia also said, He has been doing research for 3 years to find this conclusion. That is, whether the children who often play outside  have a smaller risk of suffering myopic eyes or cause other factors. He said, children who are still schooling usually is often affected by nearsightedness.


According to statistical data, amount patients with nearsightedness in Australia increased sharply. That is 20-25% of the population in australia suffer from nearsightedness. In fact, in some countries nearsightedness patients can reach 80% or more.


Possibility of the happening are because physical activity is often done kids reduce the risk of blindness. However, this research is still continuing to find the most appropriate factors.
